Yes, very interesting :-). I agree humans homo-sapiens are largely suited for inner-solar-system planets, where is relatively warm.
In response to those that like the human exploration of outer-space. It's possible that robot bases on more remote locations like Orcus and Eris, could also maintain some kind of enclosed space at temperatures which are usable by humans, though raising the temperature hundreds of degrees above ambient would take quite a bit of resources, considering how energy deprived outer-solar-system objects tend to be, where renewable energies are starlight and tidal forces. could probably use the vacuum effect to our advantage though, with sufficient insulation it could be sustainable to host liquid water sacks in -200C ambient. Similarly planets closer to the sun may be inhabitable by properly designed robots, and could make for instance a base on mercury deep enough in the ground to have stable thermal gradient, from where it could be air-conditioned or heated until it's human-accessible. In any case, as with mars exploration, it's robots that pioneer the way, as the technological extension of ourselves. btw I also increased the detail on GI-OS's solar-system version A.0 space flight, dwarf planet and asteroid bases.
