It came as a shocking revelation a few months ago that
the AI Mind would be a more rigid structure than previously
assumed and previously implemented. Up until recently,
we assumed that any concept activated as the subject
of an incipient thought would be free to associate to
any related predicate concept, i.e., a verb.

Implementing the negation of ideas killed off the
naive notion that the generation of thought meant
total freedom to associate from a selected subject to
any related verb and further to any related object.
It became necessary to reactivate any stored idea as
a complete thought stored and anchored at a particular
point of time in the AI MindGrid, lest a negated verb
try to impose its negation on an otherwise positive
assertion, such as, "All men are created equal."
Letting "All men" associate freely might give rise to
"All men are NOT created equal." So the die was cast, or
not cast -- depending on your mind-design point of view.

http://www.scn.org/~mentifex/AiMInd.html in JavaScript
for Microsoft Internet Explorer (MSIE) as of 30jul2012
shows the MindGrid time-points in Tutorial mode, so
that the AI programmer or Superintelligence maintainer
may inspect the retrieval of stored ideas from the
IdeaPlex, the MindGrid now viewed as a rigid structure.
