The creator took a case based approach to the Eliza program and stored each end user response as a case.He has accumulated millions of cases over the past decade, and apart from the non-sequiturs that arise duringa conversation, some remarkable repartee often ensues. The fact that Cleverbot only is echoing back responses given by real people at one time or another is also interesting. Could this combination ( SIRI + Watson + Cleverbot + [fill in the blank] ) become a useful proto-AGI?
