Which approach seems most plausible to you? Are you supporting that approach or are playing the role of Statler and Waldorf in the Muppet Show of AGI? ;-) (which is quite entertaining and also important)

Being the skilled software engineer that you are you would most likely have a lot more to contribute to certain projects than many others on this list?

I am more skilled when it comes to reverse engineering things, writing low level stuff like detours and dll hooks in asm and prototyping large frameworks and interfaces in high level languages ... but I am working on my C++ deficits and might try to contribute that way in the future.
