In 1800, most of the world's population of 1 billion were sustenance
level farmers. Now, agriculture makes up 6% of the world economy (and
1.5% in the U.S.), supporting 7 billion people. This means that
technology has replaced 99% of our jobs. Yet somehow, we are not at a
99% unemployment rate. How do you explain that?
