These robots move very well, the only trick is that they self-localize by reading their positions from a special ink in the track, otherwise, I would say these toy would be the state of the art in robotics mobility. I met Boris Sofman some about 5 years ago, he was TA in a course on Probabilistic Robotics that I audited and I think these guys know what they do.
>From the startup (business) point of view, they are also very well connected (Apple) and focused on a high potential market (apps + videogames + robotics...) so I think it is a good startup and they still have a lot to say on the robotics scene.
