I think with this there are issues with knowledge structure in terms of 
standards. The structure of knowledge needs to be improved and open standards 
associated with that need to be created to facilitate computers learning.

Interesting, next version of Windows I think will include Cortana. More and 
more OS's are having smart agents integrated. An issue here is that these smart 
agents are brand proprietary so open standards exposing the guts of the 
knowledge are not likely.

It's similar to messaging networks using proprietary communications protocols 
creating a fragmentation in that communications space. Ways around this will be 
with better standards since this is a totally different domain compared to 
messaging communications it's more multidimensional so the fragmentation may 
turn out hierarchical...
