I don't like it because no expert in the fields he mentions (which for all I can see are not the easiest subjects) has read it before and approved of it. Of course the guy might be right, but for for me to check whether he is will take at least a year (more likely 5) as quantum gravitation is not my field and then it might all turn out to be BS. So I am not gonna read it. If you are more adventurous than me, then by all means check it out.
To get peer reviewed mind blowing stuff, just read published papers and books about quantum gravity, it is mind blowing even without speculations about consciousness. Or maybe try this (I didn't read it, but I would like to): http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sheaves-Geometry-Logic-Introduction-Universitext/dp/0387977104 It relates the maths used in gravitational theories to that used in logic(s) which suggests to me there is a conceptual point of view from where you have a general structure of which logic(s) and field theories are just special cases. I also won't be reading it anytime soon but at least if I did I would know that when I come out at the other end I have learned something. And not only that I should not have read it.
