Interesting article I noticed covering communications networks intelligence
in systems biology of microorganisms:

Not that the paper went into quantum communications but it was mentioned:
"These findings suggest that quantum computing concepts may be required to
understand emergence of intelligent communication in microbes."

Perhaps there is multi-party quantum entanglement based communications
utilized in bacterial intelligence, e.g.

And several studies indicate that we are "influenced" by microbes attempting
to achieve goals:
