It means that another puzzle piece of the AGI has been created,
There are a few more physical abilities to "tackle",
but after that the main problem will be integration.

At which point, we'll have to rather seriously consider
human-level AI and beyond as deserving of human rights.

probably one of the last "skills" to overcome,
will be autonomous sexual replication.

Though I guess in terms of intelligence, there aren't many
"narrow" regions left where humans excel over that of machines.

some of the "jobs" on the "least likely to be automated" list,
seem to be to be much easier to automate now.

http://www.thisismoney.co.uk/money/news/article-2642880/Table-700-jobs-reveals-professions-likely-replaced-robots.html

surprisingly things like Nutritionist/Dietician are in the top
10 least likely, even though there are already simply programs
like cronometer.com which basically replace
nutritionists/dietitians.

most of the other jobs have to do with "talking" to people, like
mental-health worker, now with enhanced verbal-reasoning, most
of those can be automated.

there are also dancing robots, so not sure if choreographer
deserves to be on the list either.
