I can only give my opinion - this is very well presented, as usual from you
YKY. I very much enjoyed the Chinese with subtitles experience, reminded me of
watching a movie earlier this evening with subtitles ("True Legend").
I like the idea of mental states as in an FSM or a "Mental State" machine,
dynamic, with feed forward lobe w RNN iterative operator in dual-network and a
back-prop lobe with stochastic rectifier. Very interesting.
It’s a big jump though going from growing these networks to the bilateral
symmetry lobing of the brain. But it’s a way to associate your theory with
practical neuro-structure. Destructive learning avoidance in the dual could be
the evolutionary result of the symmetry not the cause. Though maybe biological
bilateral symmetry is related to an evolutionary network optimization. We have
2 hands, eyes, due to the way the cognitive forces in the brain synthesize. We
see the world in a duality, operators and operands are dualistically distinct
it’s yin yang. We reason in meta interactive levels, can achieve that by
destructive learning avoidance and consolidating,
