Indeed, that would be a very diciplined approach. I was intentionally expressing a top-down approach in the orrigional posting for the purposes of stimulating useful discussion. I am in the process of developing a proposal for a project that will try to create an AI mind based on an architecture that I call "Mind 2" which will ground its plausability in a bottom-up development strategy.
