Yes spiders are interesting, and jumping spiders have excellent stereo vision.  There's one who patrols the area around my desk, and often jumps onto the monitor or keyboard.  If I move my finger in front of it the spider clearly takes an interest and tracks the motion with its eyes.

Last year I read a book called "A spiders world: senses and behavior" which gives a good overview of their neuroanatomy, which as you might expect is quite different from a mammal.
