Thanks!

The book, under the title "Beyond AI: Creating the Conscience of the Machine",
is an outgrowth of my Ethics for Machines paper
(http://autogeny.org/ethics.html). It covers the history of AI, my opinions
on how far it needs to go and what it needs to do to create a really
intelligent system, and what needs to be done for the system to be a moral
agent and how good we can expect it to be.

It's at the publisher's now, they have a fairly long latency to store shelves.
They are nationally distributed, tho -- I could walk into any Borders or B&N
in the country and find my previous book, Nanofuture, on the shelf.

One of the big puzzles in AI that has bothered me since the 70s is what
happened to cybernetics and why AI and cybernetics weren't "consilient." In
the process of research I found the answer, and it's a weird one.
