I was going to recommend

Biophysics of Computation: Information Processing in Single Neurons
(Computational Neuroscience) by Christof Koch

but what you're proposing is so far from what neurons do, that I don't
see why you need a detailed, realistic model of a neuron.

The book /Neural Engineering/ is an excellent overview of one way to
do fairly general computation with simple artificial neurons.
