I've been in the NVIDIA CUDA beta program since late 2006, evaluating
the 8-Series GPUs for application to term vector processing for
computational linguistics. Having 256 fast parallel processors can be
very powerful in such an application. Limitations are mainly in the
relatively small memory space and the immaturity of the subset of C.
For larger model scalable computing I'm using Amazon EC2 and S3.
Exciting times indeed!
