Just a quick question for the AGI readership: is there anyone (lurker

I do all of my development on Mac OS at first then port to other
operating systems... but it's not much different than any other UNIX
machine for the most part. They do have some special UI libraries and
etc, but you can just stick to UNIXisms and your code should run
nearly unchanged on Mac OS.
Understood.
Actually I was coming at it from the opposite direction: I am a Mac
veteran (I started with Lisp on the Mac Plus, then later worked on Corel
Draw, Dreamweaver and various other bits and pieces, like HP printer
drivers).
My question about Mac development is largely connected to some of those
special UI libraries, because a large part of what I do now is tool
building for AGI, and the tools are unusual enough to depend heavily on
certain UI facilities.
