Chess is a typical example of a very hard problem where human level intelligence
could be outperformed by typical AI programs when they have enough computing power available. But a chess program is no AGI program because it is restricted to a very narrow well defined problem and environment. On the other hand, if there is a program which has human level intelligence, then we would say that this program is an AGI program. Both examples are extreme examples and I wonder where people in this mailing list see the necessary conditions of AGI. On the one hand, one can try to describe this formally. But I would like to find comparisons with animal like intelligence. My question: Which animal has the smallest level of intelligence which still would be sufficient for a robot to be an AGI-robot? ------------------------------------------- agi Archives: http://www.listbox.com/member/archive/303/=now RSS Feed: http://www.listbox.com/member/archive/rss/303/ Modify Your Subscription: http://www.listbox.com/member/?member_id=8660244&id_secret=106510220-47b225 Powered by Listbox: http://www.listbox.com
