Now you are making up new rules to decide that autobliss doesn't feel pain. My definition of pain is negative reinforcement in a system that learns. There is no other requirement.

I made up no rules. I merely asked a question. You are the one who makes a definition like this and then says that it is up to people to decide whether other humans feel pain or not. That is hypocritical to an extreme.

I also believe that your definition is a total crock that was developed for no purpose other than to support your BS.

You stated that machines can feel pain, and you stated that we don't get to decide which ones. So can you precisely define grounding, internal feedback and volition (as properties of Turing machines) and prove that these criteria are valid?

I stated that *SOME* future machines will be able to feel pain. I can define grounding, internal feedback and volition but feel no need to do so "as properties of a Turing machine" and decline to attempt to prove anything to you since you're so full of it that your mother couldn't prove to you that you were born.

And just to avoid confusion, my question has nothing to do with ethics.
