Current efforts are directed at developing a dual physical structure that allows a 4 qubit quantum computer to interface with a standard memory system or possibly a quantum string memory system. By dual I mean analog and digital at the same time from the same hardware. This approach is similar to the beginning of the Apple computer except it is concurrently analog and digital using quantum computation and traditional computation in the same physical structure.
