Since I started this thread I had a new idea. However, I already forgot it. This isn't worthy of derision because this has happened before when I had a genuinely new idea. My theory is that the new idea is so new that I haven't yet integrated it into my thinking very well, so it is only tentatively integrated into my thoughts about the subject. However, I am sure that I will recall it soon. Why? Because I have a mnemonic, the focus of my attention right now on the span that represents the greatest weakness in my current methods. I can't quite recall the new idea, but I felt it just then as I thought about the span that I mentioned. I had a mental sensation, so to speak, as if the idea was almost in my consciousness but not quite all the way there.
This new idea won't solve Boolean Satisfiability in polynomial time, but it may be key to my more modest goals of extending the efficiency of alternative methods of representing logical formulas in a way that would make their individual cases a easier to resolve. ------------------------------------------- agi Archives: https://www.listbox.com/member/archive/303/=now RSS Feed: https://www.listbox.com/member/archive/rss/303/ Modify Your Subscription: https://www.listbox.com/member/?member_id=8660244&id_secret=8660244-6e7fb59c Powered by Listbox: http://www.listbox.com
