The mentioned patches are for Genshi (http://genshi.edgewall.org) but with the latest release, you should not see any duplications.
Can you send the system information table (not the config) from 'About trac' in the top right navigation bar (as TRAC_ADMIN)?
Can you send also a small screenshot with the duplication? fs
