Currently we don't have real product backlog filtering - however this would be a nice addition.
What you can do is to configure one attribute which you can use to dynamically filter the backlog (you need the upcoming release to do that).
In trac.ini, you add this ---- [agilo-general] backlog_filter_attribute = <name of attribute> ----"name of attribute" could be 'component' for example. It must be a select-type attribute (so there is a fixed number of values).
Bonus points for implementing a real ad hoc filtering :-) fs
