For my Firefox, the cell background changes if I can edit a cell... We tried to add a input field as soon you hover over the field - however due to bugs in IE7 (we crashed it reproducibly) we could not use that...
4. I don't know whether I've configured something wrong, but we don't have the buttons that hide/show tickets that are done and all tickets versus only those tickets owned by the current user in the new backlog view.
We plan to implement that but there were some problems during implementation so this feature did not make it for 1.2.0.
