You should be able to remove the alias name of that ticket in the agilo
ticket admin page (i.e. set it to the empty string). That should remove
the "create xxx" link in the advanced UI as well as prevent that type
from being choosable as a type when changing ticket types.

This is strange - could you give more information about the way you have
your tasks set up?

It should be like this: Tasks can be children of Stories or Bugs and
should show up as children of them in the (new) backlog. If you add a
task without a parent to a sprint, it should show up in the "Task
without Stories" at the bottom of the backlog.

If that's not the case, that would be a bug. :)

Of course, you can log in to https://dev.agile42.com/ as
agilouser/agilouser and can look around there (however with the caveat
that much of the current development happens in a different trac that
you can't see, so it's a bit hard to watch the development live.
