What is your role in this sprint? I am a bit concerned about this 
statement, as usually the tasks should stay unassigned until they are

Who else but a team member would work on a task?

The inability to save sounds like a bug. Can you try to reproduce this 
in 1.3.X ?

I cannot reproduce this. The list contains every user know to trac for 
me.

Did you check whether the SM is part of the team? There were a few bugs 
fixed in 1.3, so I'd also like to ask you to reproduce the issues there.
