We had lots of problems running agilo under centos, and many of them could be traced to the old versions of the base software. We are planning a new installation on debian, with newer versions of python and sqlite (an others). So I cannot yet recommend debian over centos, but my perception is: get away from centos. Plus, many trac plugins recommend newer python versions, some do not support python 2.4 (I had to patch one plugin for 2.4).
