I believe there is a need to the following features:

1. Date field - we should be able to add a custom date field for each
of the tickets. Currently I use a text field, but it is not good
enough (errors, sorting, filtering, etc.)
2. Mandatory field - we should add a parameter to any of the fields -
mandatory: yes/no and enforce it of course. Currently I put --- option
for each of the mandatory fields, and go over a report to find all the
tickets with the --- as value. Then I call the developer and ask him
to enter a value. It doesn't make sense, does it?
3. Multi-selection field - we should be able to add a custom list
field (drop-down list control) which enables the user to select more
than one items. i.e. if a bug happens/ task related in two product
lines or project name or whatever, I'd like to have two or more items
selected. Currently we use two separate tickets (frustrating), or
using one item and adding the others as a comment (sorting & filtering
is useless).
