Hi Stefano, first of all thanks for your answer!
What I am interested in is the effect for the capacity of the assigned resources. From my observations I think each of the two resources capacity is reduced by 6 hours when having an estimated remaining effort of 12 hours. What we would like to have is the possibility to control how much of the effort goes to the owner and how much goes to the additional resource(s). For example 2/3 of the remaining effort are reserved for the owner and 1/3 is reserved for the additional resource. The capacity for the owner would be reduced by 6 hours and the capacity of the additional resource would be reduced by 3 hours. The point is: We would like to control how the workload (estimated effort) is split between assigned resources and thus control how the capacity of the resources is influenced. Hope that explains it a bit better.
