alright, I should have done this last night, but I was too tired. Sorry to bifurcate the gamestate once again; I intend to post a summary of recent actions later on.

I cause the > President to repeal Rule 2326 (The President). I don't see how the last two changes could possibly work, since the President is/was only Power 1 and Rules 103 (The Speaker) and 2326 (The President) are Power 2. There is also a question of whether my purported scam, where I caused Agora to act, applies to the President directly. I was relying on an action that was explicitly permitted, just not by announcement (causing Agora to act without objection, per Rule 2339, where Agora is permitted to "make arbitrary changes to the gamestate" by Rule 2351), whereas the President is only allowed to "take actions" (and, arguably, only if someone is acting on its behalf without objection or with consent; the announcement mechanism is only "take actions that are not otherwise IMPOSSIBLE", but if you believe that argument the "actions" allowed by the former clause are thus "not otherwise IMPOSSIBLE"... but only in general). But anyway, scshunt ignored my intents regarding Proposal 7174. That was the proposal I submitted back in February and attempted to distribute after causing a Golem to make everyone inactive. I listed myself as the only eligible voter in the distribution and this was contested within a week, so the distribution was only effective if the inactive-making was; since I then attempted to retract the proposal (for simplicity), there was no purported resolution to self-ratify. If it happens that the scam was effective after all (I'm not claiming it necessarily was, but I may as well go all the way): - Since my attempt to cause a Golem to make everyone active again was an action only other players could take (at the time, I claimed the inactivity worked both because the player emself could do it by announcement and because other players could do it with objection, but the judgement convinced me that the former didn't work), everyone was probably inactive until a Registrar's report self-ratified. This would affect Assumption but that also self-ratified. - Since that was before the recent fix to the bug in proposal resolution where proposals would take effect as soon as the decision had an outcome, the proposal was automatically enacted when the voting period ended seven days later; but it was repealed in the ratification that was part of that fix (unless R101 interfered?). - More importantly, the Assessor is shamefully, er, 222 days late to resolve that proposal, which will cause it to be enacted again, and my intent to deputise to do so is now over 2 days old. So, > I intend to deputise for the Assessor to resolve the decision to adopt > Proposal 7174. I do so. The valid ballots were: omd FOR*2 Quorum is 1. (The rule about eligible voters remains "those entities that were active first-class players at the start of its voting period"). The outcome is ADOPTED. The following proposal is adopted: }{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{ Proposal 7174 (AI=3, Ordinary) by omd Darkshot Create a new Power-3 Rule: omd CAN cause this rule to amend itself, specifying the new text, with notice. }{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{}{ (I don't think it's the case, but just in case I somehow only voted once, I re-do that deputisation but with FOR*1 instead of FOR*2.) > I intend, with notice, to cause the rule enacted by Proposal 7174 to > amend itself to read: > > omd CAN cause this Rule to make arbitrary changes to the > gamestate by announcement. I do so (for greater clarity, I am not referring to any entity enacted by Proposal 7174 that is no longer a rule). > For each rule enacted in the last week, I intend, with notice, to repeal it. I cause the rule enacted by Proposal 7174 to repeal all rules enacted by Proposals 5982, 6130, 7310, and 7314 that I can. In case that's not specific enough, if possible, I cause it to repeal Rule 2380 (untitled), Rule 2382 (Win By Junta), Rule 2383 (Open It Up), and Rule 2384 (King of the Hill), the rules I purportedly caused to be enacted in my recent message titled "BUS: derp", and the rule scshunt purportedly caused to be enacted in eir second message in that thread. It is possible I was not able to repeal the last of those rules because it was not enacted when I made my intent (although it is identical to Rule 2380) Finally, to quote scshunt, I cause the rule enacted by Proposal 7174 to repeal Rule 2326 (Slave Golems) and Rule 2326 (The President), amend Rule 103 (The Speaker) by replacing the second and third paragraphs with: A citizen is any player other than the Speaker. Changing the holder of the Speaker office is secured with threshold 1. The office of Speaker CANNOT be held by anyone other than a first-class player, and the Speaker CANNOT deregister. and amend Rule 1950 by appending ", but once an Agoran decision has been initiated, if it has an adoption index, it CANNOT have it removed, and if it does not, it CANNOT have one added." to the sentence "Adoption index and Chamber are secured with a power threshold of 2" (if it does not already contain that text).
