Proposal: Wordplay (AI=1)

[I figure that it's a good idea to create ties between roleplaying and
the rest of Agora.  Here's something I thought of a few days ago.
(There should probably be a win condition, too, but that can wait
until a game actually gets started, if one does...)]

Create a new Rule, titled "Word Cards":

      Word Cards are a class of entities.  Each Word Card is labeled
      with one word, and belongs to exactly one player.  If the owner
      of a Word Card ceases to be a player, the Card is destroyed.
      For Word Card related purposes, a "word" is any sequence of
      English letters and punctuation, but not whitespace.

      King Azaz is an office.  Eir report contains a list of each Word
      Card's label and owner; such a list in a document purporting to
      be such a report is self-ratifying.

      A player CAN by announcement transfer a Word Card e owns to
      another player, or destroy a Word Card e owns.

Create a new Rule, titled "Shopping Periods":

      If it has been at least 5 days since the beginning of the
      current Shopping Period (or there is no current Shopping
      Period), King Azaz CAN initiate a Shopping Period by
      announcement, ending the previous one.  E SHALL initiate a new
      Shopping Period within 10 days after the beginning of a previous
      one.  Initiating a Shopping Period involves atomically
      performing the following steps:

      - Selecting the Shopping Rule, a Rule which has never before
        been the Shopping Rule, which SHALL be picked at random.  (If
        there is no such Rule, a Shopping Period NEED NOT be
        initiated.)

      - Awarding each player three Word Cards, each labeled with a
        word selected from the concatenation of all rule bodies (the
        words SHALL be picked at random with replacement).

      When correcting a botched Shopping Period initiation, King Azaz
      MAY and SHOULD reuse random values as appropriate instead of
      recalculating everything anew.

      Any player CAN, by announcement up to twice per Shopping Period,
      trade in any Word Card e owns for one labeled with an arbitrary
      word from the body of the Shopping Rule.

Create a new Rule, titled "Inventory":

      Any player CAN by announcement order a subset of the labels of
      eir Word Cards into a set of phrases; this is known as eir
      Inventory.  A player's Inventory remains in effect until
      e publishes a new one, or e no longer has Word Cards sufficient
      to construct the Inventory.

      For the purposes of roleplaying in the Province of Agora, the
      Dungeon Master SHOULD construe grammatically correct phrases in
      a player's Inventory as descriptions of things eir player
      character owns or possesses.  E may, however, reject illogical
      entities, and modify overpowered or unthematic items, as e sees
      fit.
