I object. I think Goethe is doing a fine job as CotC. E is assigning
CFJs briskly, keeping the game flowing. I was unhappy about eir three
trivial CFJs, but it is the calling and not eir actions as CotC that I
object to there.

Regarding the massively-linked CFJs, which had the ulterior motive
of acquiring VCs, the assemblage was concerned with genuine issues
that had arisen some time earlier. Goethe as CotC properly assigned
them to a judge who would give them all due consideration and render
useful judgements. As self-appointed judge e did in fact judge them
appropriately.

A fix is required to close the VC-minting hole that we have just
demonstrated. I think further gratuitous use of the hole would be
dishonourable; the use we made of it, by contrast, was (a) pointing out
the hole, and (b) a counterscam aimed at preserving Agoran democracy,
both honourable ends. The number of VCs minted was not arbitrary, but
was calculated to just outweigh the voting power the would-be Oligarchs
could bring to bear, assuming that they spent all their VCs (which in the
end they did not) and some other assumptions about the tactical situation.
