Hi. It's not always like this. >Perhaps this is the time for these two too to form a partnership. Would that >be allowed? Could a player that is a member of a partnership form a >partnership with that partnership? These remain open questions. In real-life law these wouldn't work. Two partnerships of the same natural persons are the same partnership. If one were to speak of a partnership being a partner to another partnership then it would be interpreted as all the individual partners of the first being partners to the second. So (for example) any purported partnership between me and the Pineapple Partnership would in fact be the Pineapple Partnership. The way we've developed the partnership concept in Agoran law, these basic aspects of partnerships would most likely be applied in Agora too. Agora has had some kind of player grouping mechanism for most of its existence. It looks like we're entering an era where partnerships are the mechanism for that. If so we'll probably want to regulate it a bit, particularly to limit the number of partnerships a player can enter into, to prevent the exponential profusion of partnerships. >Am I allowed to ask questions like that here? What's the etiquette? You're welcome to discuss the game. You might like to ask the Registrar to list you as a Watcher in eir report. -zefram
