Good point, I may have overstated a bit. I liked groups. They weren't as troublesome because they only granted extra votes (ironically only on democratic proposals, which would be unthinkable in the current climate). Also, their domains were first-order rather than second-order, and IIRC a player could only be in one group at a time, both of which helped to limit their abusability. -root
