I took all the steps you guys suggested for formatting. Hope it makes
things better.

@ Kerim: I see what you mean about ISIDTID. My reason for putting the
time on the message was R1023. Specifically, I thought that the "in
the same message" clause was meant to imply that things in the same
message occur at the same time, and therefore my name would not change
to ehird for long enough to try to get that first attempt across.

@ Murphy: Yes, I've read 591; I meant to say something like "By
starting this CFJ, I claim I have provided sufficient lack of apathy
and therefore my message expresses intent to be a player"; but I can
see how it might be read like "I claim that the (sole) act of starting
this CFJ implies that I register." On a related note, 2125 (and 478,
Fora) is one of the rules I don't really understand. If I understand
correctly, the reason that my action does not succeed in my intent
falls under the "In particular..." clause, right?
