I got this email a few days ago in response to my pinging of the
ancients. I apologize for the delay in forwarding it; it got lost in
the sea of ~100 "delivery failed" messages.

Tell the current Agorans that they're totally, completely, wonderfully
insane for understanding the complex rules of Agora. :) I myself left
because it was just so complex, as is the [initial] nature of the game
over time. I remember I was going to find some way of twisting the
rules to get Cleverbot to play. After all, no rule [to my knowledge,
and as of the last time I played] says a player needs to be human!
Heck, you could get a die to play, theoretically, since the definition
of "translate" in the rule about players is/was ambiguous. We could
"translate" Cleverbot's responses into an email form, or "translate" a
die roll's number to a prewritten response for each, which we then
"translate" into an email form. Good luck causing chaos with this
idea, Agorans!
