I really like the idea of a multi-currency system and have ideas of my own to share about that, but I think we should give Yaks a try. I want to see what happens this quarter without making any major changes to them. The change I would make at the moment is auctioning off VCs, maybe with a supply like you suggested here: G. wrote: > My proto-proto for VC supply would be: > > 1. We need something to spend Yaks on, and since the Distributability system can be got around with no effort, auctioning VCs for Yaks seems like a good idea. Of course, if scshunt's Chamber of Commerce proposal passes, then that's something else, but I doubt if players will often bother to set their proposals to something other than the default chamber, though. Perhaps in the future Yaks could make a transition to being Stem-like, with the currencies you can actually spend being auctioned off occasionally. Infractions could result in Blots/Rests, the Promotor could sell a batch of Papyrus each month or week, etc. (Not that we would just go back to a copy of the old system.) -- Walker
