I’m rapidly becoming convinced that the problem before us is a surplus of Shinies rather than a lack, and that introducing more will only aggravate the stockpiling already going on. In the last two weeks, there have been approximately one Shinies transaction each day on average, but the largest voluntary transaction was a scant 20 Shinies. Meanwhile, there’s more than 50 times that number in circulation. In the presence of mechanisms for emergency pending, I’d rather hold the line on inflation, or even contemplate deflation, instead. -o
