Yes, that is why I asked: to make sure e wasn't merely mistaken
about the presence of this feature.  (Based on the headers, eir
message seems to have been sent from some official Gmail client rather
than a SMTP client, but perhaps it was one of the mobile ones, which
do lack this functionality AFAIK.)
