please explain to me everything that has occurred here, it makes no sense to me and I have no idea how I'd record it in my ADoP records.

(1) There was some back and forth about whether VJ Rada's votes counted, since e deregistered after voting. (They did.)

(2) There's a strange mismatch between Rule 2513 (Campaign Proposals) and Rule 2034 (Vote Protection and Cutoff for Challenges).

* The former says that Campaign Proposals don't take effect unless and until their proposer wins the office (and in this case the proposer didn't). * The latter says that resolving a proposal as adopted self-ratifies as not just that it was adopted, but also that it took effect. * The absurd result is that when a Campaign Proposal passes but does not take effect, it is necessary to CoE on this fact to prevent it from ratifying into effect later. * Even more absurdly, this can plausibly remain the case even if the Assessor includes a note that it didn't take effect, because that note isn't legally a part of the resolution. To do it properly I think e has to actually formulate it as a CoE (which e might do and respond to in the same message).

(3) The Campaign Proposal _was_ adopted, but did not take effect. However, the CoEs and arguments based on (2) were confusing to the Assessor as well, so on several occasions e made revisions stating it wasn't adopted, causing further CoEs.

Greetings,
Ørjan.

On a cursory search of the Rules, it seems that the Playerhood of
voters is _only_ measured at the initiation of the decision (683 §2).
I found nothing voiding their ballots if they subsequently
deregister. And the default voting strength 1 is also defined for
arbitrary entities.

My apologies if I've missed something obvious.
