Under the unmooted judgement of CFJ 3831 this would probably work due to the similarity to previous Agoran economic systems. If it were up to me completely, I would probably say that these transfers failed because in 3831, the context of a Notice of Honour was clear and the logical jump to karma instead of kudos was easier to make. In this case, however, an argument could probably be made that many currencies could take the place of "shiny" in this message.

Maybe that's a half-baked defense. I don't know. It just feels distinctly wrong to me to consider old terms for similar-looking things generally synonymous with their new terms.

That being said, I don't actually have a very strong opinion on this case. Do whatever makes most sense to you.
