Both of us are wrong! Under the current rules, V.J Rada paid 5 shinies, not 7
shinies or 26 shinies, for eir stamp. The outcome is the same, though: I need
to revise the report.
The following transactions needed to be reinterpreted, and I’m medium confident
in these outcomes. The core presumption is that, at all times since the first
version (no revision number) of the Secretary’s weekly report, the Floating
Value has been 20:
* V.J Rada’s attempt to buy a stamp succeeded, but at 5 sh., not 7 sh.
* My attempt to claim four rewards succeeded.
* V.J Rada’s attempt to pay 1 sh. to pend “Spend, Spend, Spend” succeeded by
accident. Pancaking saved his bacon.
* V.J Rada’s attempt to pay 1 sh. to pend "Interpretive Regulations” also
succeeded.
* G.’s, P.S.S.’s, and Alexis' attempts to create a stamp all succeeded, and
cost em 5 sh. apiece.
* V.J Rada’s attempt to pay 1 sh. to pend "Estate Auction Fix” succeeded as
above.
In the absence of a good way to do that in place, I publish the following
interim report as a “revision.” Let’s hope this works. If not, I need help
figuring out how to fix this correctly: I suspect “doing nothing” leaves the FV
at 20 (which is fine) but also means nobody has any idea of what anyone’s
balances are (which could be an issue).
Note that I have not flipped the Floating Value a second time in this report.
This is intentional; I’ve caused enough chaos this week. The revision correctly
reports the FV.
