I would like to gauge how many of you would be willing to spend a little of your time giving feedback on something I'm working on for both AGRIP and as part of my research.
Basically I am aware of the difficulties people are having with respect to accessing the information they need in the manual. We have recently developed what we believe to be a solution to this problem that is applicable to long documents and even web pages (not just AGRIP stuff!). We'd like to trial it at some point towards the end of the next couple of months. I would like to know how many of you are willing to answer a reasonably short and anonymous survey on the new version of the manual that uses our new system, when it is released (I'm currently just trying to see what response we get). We are confident the results will allow you to get a lot more out of the resources we're developing for you and hopefully other material from other people in the future. Ideally we need 10 or more participants. Again, it's not going to be for a while (early in the New Year, we're hoping). If you feel you'll be able to contribute, please let me know by replying here. I'll keep you updated via this list closer to the time we'd like you to fill in our short survey. Thanks in advance for your time and support! best regards, -- Matthew T.
