But what's the official routine for how they aim? It looks like some
functions are written twice and in different ways and some are commented out
in favor of others.  I changed what looked like an aiming routine to give
them a bit of a delay before they readjust to your new position.  Just as a
test, I gave them a ridiculous delay like 30 seconds or something and then
jumped behind them and they were instantly on me.  So, I'm a bit confused.
And, because you get all weapons when you start or respawn, and all
backpacks that players drop turn into packs that give 10 health, the bots
won't be able to pick up weapons.  So where is that function that controls
what they use, so that I can make them randomly use some of the other
weapons that are available to them?

I largely agree -- perhaps we could introduce some randomness here in
the not-too-distant future.  Oh, and limit it's visual range, too, if
need be.
