Well it seems I've been able to find the answer to my own question, -or at least one of them. I've located the progs.dat file in pak0.pak. I'd still love to hear any thoughts anyone might have on the finer points of a mod, so please feel free to shout out if you want! <smile>

Hello, am wondering how to begin modding the Audio Quake mod. :) First off, is there a complete package of the Audio Quake source code along with the ZQuake source code that's used by Audio Quake? Everything seems so bloody well spread out it's not even funny. <smile> Secondly, I have two Quake C compilers which will also decompile a progs.dat file, but this file doesn't seem to exist from what I can tell in the Audio Quake folder or tree. The only ones I find are either qwprogs.dat or spprogs.dat.
Can I decompile, mod, and recompile one of these using a standard qcc?
Lastly, If I need a specific ZQuake compiler, where can I find a complete package? I've looked but can't seem to locate one...
Thanks for any help or suggestions anyone might have...
