For the benefit of everyone (and especially those that have joined the list since the initial information regarding the survey came out): the survey concerns some ideas we have implemented to make getting useful information out of long documents both easier and more accessible. The work, if found to be useful, could well be applied to many types of documentation (from game/software manuals to web sites [work has already started on this] and many other types of information).
I should have mentioned that the survey is NOT just open to those that previously volunteered -- we need as many of you as possible to fill it in so that we can get a reasonably accurate idea of the results.
