Hi Ken, thanks so much for your interest and for letting me know about these errors. <smile> As for the first one, It's been taken care of. One of the files which should have been in the force folder in sounds in your id1 folder, for whatever reason, was not there. I've uploaded not only the single force.wav file which you can download and place in your id1/sounds/force folder, but I've also uploaded version 3.7.1 of the mod pack which has this sound again, in the folder structure where it should be. My apologies! <smile> As for your second set of errors, I have no idea why that would be happening. It's not in the realm of anything I've modded for the game, and you really should check your installation of the game as this is a quake error and not one of mine, or at least not one I've ever seen. <smile> Just for clarity's sake, what were you doing when you got the later error? Were you using a weapon or force power? If a weapon or force power, which one? What were you aiming at? What map were you in when this happened?

  Thanks so much!

As far as your earlier post, if you would like to replace any of the sounds in AudioQuake, such as the doors, you can simply do so by creating your own wave file and placing it in the proper folder with the proper name so that the game will precache and use the new file. RE: the slopes, that mod is already in place and you should be able to hear it now. As for the installation of the mod packs, you should only need to install 3.7 with the addition of the force.wav I've just posted, or simply install 3.7.1 as is. I hope this helps and please do let me know if my above suggestion helps the later errors. Very sorry for the inconvenience and do hope you enjoy the mods!...

Smiles,

Mod Girl

I installed mod pack 3.7 but without installing the others. Should I have installed them, because I'm getting tons of errors. First, it can't find force.wav--and neither can I. Here's the exact message.
Downloading sound/force/force.wav...
Couldn't download sound/force/force.wav to bringer of death
File not found.
Couldn't load sound/force/force.wav
Second, when I'm out of death match mode, (deathmatch 0,) I get a ton of program errors, as follows.

CALL1      461(precache_sound)precache_sound()
agrip\../qw/plats.qc : func_plat
<NO FUNCTION>
PF_precache_sound: overflow

Please help!
