Oh, I wanted to set up my own just because there were a few really good
people on tbrn.net, and my friend and I being new at Audio Quake, wanted to
practice against each other.

Subject: Re: [AGRIP-discuss] Setting up a server

Right what you need.
1. you need a linux or windows machine, preferably a liux machine, unless
you want to be really gheto and run the server of your main workstation.
2. I know how to set up a server on linux but not on windows because I
didn't have a need too, i think theres a zqds.exe you have to start with a
bat file or something maybe you just run the zqds from a command prompt.
and why would you want to set up your own quake server on your own bandwidth
I'm not triing to deter you from this action, but when there's a perfectly
good jedi quake server on tbrn.net for you to use and enjoy?
Also, by using the tbrn.net server, you get to get to use the latest weapons
and adaptations that modgirl comes out with. I guess you could say that tbrn
is like the testing ground before she actually releases the mod to the
public.

Hi everyone;
Can I please get some help on how to set up an Audio Quake server? I have
been reading the manual, but it does not say how to do it; it just tells the
difference between the two types.
So, can someone please explain how to get a server up and running? Also, how
to get it working with Jedi Quake?
Thanks Very Much

Sean
