Hi Sabine. Very glad to see you working on modifications!
It would be very fun to have a deathmatch full of monsters. There is a mode that can be set on the server where players can not kill each other. I thought that a fun variation of a traditional deathmatch would be to set this mode and then throw a bunch of monsters into the game (like 40), and see who could kill the most monsters. Since frags would only be earned from killing monsters, instead of each other, this might create an environment where people didn't feel so personally threatened by getting killed. It isn't too hard for the mod to add monsters to the server. However, I'm not sure how to automatically end the level/map when all of the monsters are dead. I'll need to give this some additional thought. Bryan -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Sabine G Sent: Wednesday, May 23, 2007 5:13 AM To: M. Tylee Atkinson; AGRIP User and Developer discussion list; list, AGRIP-announce Subject: [AGRIP-discuss] Jediquake in french Hi all, I've translated the mod jediquake in french and actually we are a little group of gamer playing on my server. But my server don't show in stats and server, so in my server.cfg the sentence is on: setmaster agrip.org.uk fraglogfile ; serverinfo fraglogging ON I also have contact the author of a named mod: sddmsp to see if he could compile his mod with audioquake or jediquake. It is the mod which pleases us well, because it spawn the monsters in a party in deathmatch. The problem is that I do not know indeed in programming there and that I do not too much dare to touch the code because I does not include big thing. Thus I hope that the author of this mod can make something, or can be somebody of agrip. Here is the web page of this mod if somebody wants to go to visit: http://files.moddb.com/5387/download-superduper-dmsp-quake-13-with-m/ I began little has to make the tutoriel on the modification of code on agrip but I do not know if a tutoriel more detailed exists at present. We like this game and would like that it continues to be to déveloper. We have a group of discussion about the accessibles games as well as a site: http://fa1ckg.free.fr/cecinet/quakeIndex.htm Here we are, it was to say to you that the French players were on the ground and that if I can bring something malgrès my weak level in programming I shall make it.
