One bit of good news: I just did some Googling and found that it may
actually be quite easy to make ZQuake compile on an Intel Mac vs a
PowerPC Mac. I will need to look into this in more detail but it looks
like our fork of the engine may be recent enough do cope with both types
of Mac (which would be great).

If it does turn out to be that simple then the challenges would be:

1. Make sure the build scripts run on OS X.

2. Find a way to make them run on Windows (for developers -- I'm working
on this at the moment actually).

3. Work out how to package AQ for OS X (shouldn't be too hard as OS X is
just UNIX underneath so we can potentially just capitalise on that.

So, maybe there is some hope :-). I'm still running 10.3 on my
PowerBook but was thinking of getting 10.5 and some new memory at some
point. If I did that, then we could test it on 10.4 and 10.5, on both
PowerPC and Intel, with your help.

best regards,
